The production process starts in the laboratory, before continuing in the greenhouse in closed tube-shaped glass photobioreactors. In the greenhouse, the algae are fed with CO₂ and a carefully balanced mix of nutrients. The grow light consists of natural sunlight, supplemented when necessary with artificial lighting. The process of harvesting, drying and processing the algae has been extensively automated. Each process step has been optimized for optimal quality, efficiency and sustainability.
Our production facilities provide optimal growing conditions for microalgae all year long. Careful monitoring and control of climate conditions and nutrients guarantee the yield and quality of our production. Furthermore, algae cultivation in closed glass photobioreactors minimizes the risk of pollution and contamination.
Operational excellence lies at the core of Algae Capital. From precision-controlled cultivation to streamlined processing, the focus is on building a robust, scalable operation that delivers consistent, high-quality output. By combining technology, data, and discipline, the foundation is laid not only to grow algae, but also to contribute to a healthier future for both people and planet.
